Pioneer College of Education, Anuppur as an affiliated college duly recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college believes in imparting value-based education to would-be teachers, with special emphasis on rural areas. The admission process of Pioneer College of Education aims to select suitable candidates for its teacher training programme. The college abides by the admission rules and regulations of the State Government, U.T. Administration and the affiliated University. The major assessment for the selection process shall be based on either the marks acquired in the last qualifying exam and/or performance in the entrance examination.
The college may resort to other means of assessment as the regulations presently in force may define. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Pioneer College of Education is full-time in the very cherished B.Ed. course in whole, which is two-year train teachers for the professional practice. The college is approved to take in about 50 students in this regard so that there may be an appropriate educational atmosphere with the student-to-teacher ratio.
The admissions for the B.Ed. program shall be based on merit considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. Other criteria may also be included in the selection procedure as stated in the policies set forth by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated University.
