Rajajinagar College of Education, Bangalore Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Rajajinagar College for Teacher Education, Bangalore, a reputed Teacher Education Institution, has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is also recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to conduct two full-time degree programs in education by admitting 100 students. 

The eligibility criteria vary from one set of programs to another for interested individuals. The candidates for B.Ed. should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree accepted by a university, whereas for D. El. Ed., either 10+2 or equivalent from any board is required.

Application Procedure

Rajajinagar College of Education, Bangalore follows the following general process in the application procedure.

1. Admission Notice: The college makes publications about the admission notice through the college website and other types of media.

2. Application Form: Candidates obtain and fill in the application form either online from the college website or offline from the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Candidates must submit all relevant documents along with the duly filled application form:

• Mark sheets of the relevant exams (10th, 12th, and bachelor's degree as applicable)
• Identity proof
• Latest passport-size photographs
• Any other certificates or documentation required by the college

4. Entrance Test: The candidate may also be required to give this entrance test based on the stream and prevailing admission policies.

5. Merit List: Candidates are listed for merit based on the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance test, by the state government and the university.

6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Call for counseling to the shortlisted candidates, where seats are allotted according to merit and availability.

7. Fee Payment: The selected candidates must pay all prescribed fees to confirm admission.

8. Document verification: Verification of all documents submitted by the applicant will be done by the college before finalizing the admission. 

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education):

The Rajajinagar College for Teacher Education, B.Ed., is a two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 50 students. Admission is based on merit ranking determined by the candidate's performance in the qualifying and/or entrance examination. To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

D. El. Ed.:

D. El. Ed. has an equal capacity of 50 students. This is also a 2-year full-time program. Admission to this program is also made on merit, based on scores obtained in the qualifying examination and/or those performed in an entrance examination. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the D. El. Ed. program.
