Samaritan college of Nursing, Ernakulam a pioneer in nursing education was started in 2002 in the state of Kerala, India. Located the Pazhanganad, Kizhakkambalam, this co-education college, covering 5 acres, aims at creating the best environment for the future healthcare workers. it is affiliated to NIMS University, CBSE, AND is approved by Indian Nursing Council INC, and therefore has high standards and quality in the training of nurses. Currently, the college is teaching 5 courses at two different degree levels for an aggregate of 199 students and 21 dedicated faculty members.
Samaritan college of Nursing has numerous amenities that are meant to support teaching-learning process as well as personal development among students. A spacious library with more than 3000 books and number of national/International journals is available for learning from 8:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. The technology integrated library with open source access and privileged internet facilities meet the contemporary research requirement of the students. As for the accommodation, there are provided boys’ and girls’ hostels allowing to have a comfortable stay. Samaritan College of Nursing provides coverage on all levels of nursing education from degree to post graduate programmes.
