Sharda Narayan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Mau, was setup in the year 2018, which is a self- financing institute solely to impart education in nursing in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-educational institution situated in Mau which is affiliated in nursing and paramedical sciences as per approval of the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The institute, situated in just 2.39 acres, presently teaches two conventional, distinct courses with a combined strength of 80. The faculties of the institute comprises of 9 professional including faculty members, this put the institute in a favourable position of having a student faculty ratio that ensures that all students receive quality attention.

A list of infrastructural facilities has developed over the years, with the aim of improving the learning as well as the total personality of the students. Every good nurse needs a library which is filled with pertinent information needed in the course of learning. The campus boasts of sophisticated laboratory for skills practice and other facilities, which are relevant in polishing nursing and paramedical sciences. About extra curriculum other facilities include sporting facilities and Gym to enhance physical exercise and games. Sharda Narayan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences has facilities such as an auditorium for occasional events like seminars that help make the institute very active academically.

It has two course in nursing education for the candidates Sharda Narayan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences. The institute’s academic offering consist an Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The ANM course takes two years with an intake capacity of 40 students and GNM course is a three-year programme and has an intake capacity of 20 students.
