Diploma in Event Management - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
Great infrastructure, active campus life, and strong industry networking. The practical workshops and live event exposure give you a realistic taste of how the media and entertainment industry actually functions. Highly recommended for students who want practical learning over just theory.
College Infra
Everything is fine far better than amity, galgotias.
Studying at AAFT provides solid exposure to media, arts, and management. The biggest strength is the hands-on environment—you get early exposure to practical workflows, studio setups, and industry events rather than just textbook theory. The faculty brings valuable real-world context into the classroom, and being in the Film City ecosystem opens doors for networking and live on-ground experience. Like most creative programs, what you get out of it heavily depends on your own initiative and how actively you take up projects, live event volunteering, and networking opportunities.
Campus Life
A realistic take on AAFT’s value for money: do not join thinking a high fee automatically guarantees a high-paying day-one salary. The media, creative, and event industries do not operate on standard corporate packages; starting salaries are modest, which makes the initial financial ROI look tight. The true value here is experiential—the brand access, Marwah Studios network, and hands-on exposure that help you skip several years of entry-level trial and error. If you are ready to hustle from day one, it pays off; if you expect passive results, you might find the fee structure difficult to swallow.
Placements
When it comes to placements at AAFT, the biggest reality is that creative and media fields hire based on proof of work rather than just degree certificates. The Corporate Resource Cell (CRC) regularly shares internship drives, production calls, and agency openings, but the college functions best as a bridge rather than a magic wand. If you proactively build a solid portfolio, volunteer for on-ground productions, and leverage the industry masterclasses, getting placed at agencies, production units, or media channels is very achievable. Expect average starting packages to align with industry entry levels, with the real upside coming from the practical network you build while studying.
Value For Money
Whether AAFT is "value for money" comes down to how proactively you utilize its resources. The tuition is on the higher, private-institute tier, so if you treat it purely as a classroom-and-lecture experience, it can feel steep. However, what you are essentially paying for is the ecosystem: practical studio access, equipment exposure, industry workshops, and direct proximity to events and media companies in Film City. If you actively network, volunteer for ground productions, and milk the practical facilities to build a rock-solid portfolio, you can definitely justify the investment.
