Shri Mahalaxmi Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, set up in 2007, is only Women University in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This affiliated college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which further confirms its awareness regarding the quality teacher education. Situated in the U.I.T Colony, E-Sector, Pratap Nagar, the college offers two integrated degree programmes: B.Sc B.Ed and BA B.Ed.
