Smt. K.C. Ajmera Ayurved Mahavidyalya was started in the year 1989 at Dhule in Maharashtra. It is a co-educational institution with the prime aim of imparting quality education in Ayurveda. This college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. It is approved by Central Council for Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and offers two degrees in Ayurvedic medicine. On a 2.87-acre compact campus, presently the college has an enrolment of 276 students on its rolls and a faculty strength of 28 members.
It has all types of facilities that cater toward enhancement of the learning experience and support student life. It is provided with separate hostels for boys and girls, which will give an immense and comfortable feel to students coming from other parts of the world. Equally, a well-stocked library is taking the central part in encouraging the knowledge center with books, periodicals, and manuscripts of ayurvedic salient interest. Laboratories sufficiently furnished to cater to the need of practical learning in Ayurveda form a source of pride in these institutions. An auditorium in the campus is where many events and seminars take place to create a lively academic atmosphere. To add to the savoriness of the learning environment for students, the college campus is strapped with a cafeteria, sports facilities, and a health center with first-aid services.
Smt. K.C. Ajmera Ayurved Mahavidyalya offers two courses, listed below, in its curriculum. The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, which is a full-time six-year course with an intake capacity of 60 students. At the postgraduate level the institution offers MD Swasthvritta, a full time course of three years with intake of 5 students. Both courses are intended to impart in-depth theoretical
knowledge and practical training in respect of Ayurveda.
