The four year old institution has a faculty of 34 members who are dedicated to produce qualified professionals in the branch of Ayurveda. Located in close proximate to RIICO Busstand on Hanumangarh Road, the college teaches and facilitates research in this ancient form of medicine.

SGCollege offers only four full time courses out of which one is an Undergraduate Programme and three are Postgraduate Programmes. BAMS course has an intake capacity of 50 students and each of the three MD courses namely MD Swasthvritta, MD Rachana Sharir, MD Dravyaguna Vigyan have taken an intake of 5 students each.
