Tebhaga Teachers Training College was established in 2015 at Dakshin Dinajpur of West Bengal. This co-educational state university-affiliated college envisions the proper development of future teachers. For both B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses, admissions are strictly done according to the policy and stipulations of the concerned authorities of the respective government departments of the state and that of the university to which the college is affiliated. The main basis of selection is the qualifying examination performance and, wherever applicable, marks gained from the entrance examination.

Application Process

Admission at the Tebhaga Teachers Training College takes place in a number of cycles:

1. Notice of Admission: The college announces through its official website and other media channels, the start of the admission process.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course at Tebhaga Teachers Training College has a predetermined strength of Fifty seats. The admission process to this B.Ed course is based on merit, i.e., weighted according to the marks earned in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination as per the policies established by the state government and the affiliated university. Candidate should have qualification at least a bachelor's degree or an equivalent from a recognized university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Like the B.Ed program, 50 seats are sanctioned for the D.El.Ed program. Admission into D.El.Ed is similar to that of B.Ed in that the selection will be purely on merit. Merit lists will be drawn up based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance exam, according to the rules framed by the State Government. Generally, the candidates eligible to apply are those who complete their higher secondary (10+2) degree from the recognized board.
