Thiravium College of Education for Women, Theni, is aself self-financed college for women exclusively for those who want be educators in future, founded in the year 2007. This affiliated college is set in Kailasapatty, Thamarikulam Po, Theni, Tamil Nadu. It is approved by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is situated on a small area of 4.68 acres but is designed to give its learners a concentrated education experience. The strength of the students presently in the institute is 108 and the faculty strength is 11 in total, which makes the institute capable of providing focused attention as well as quality education to the students. At the moment, the college provides only one academic programme for the degree, focusing on teacher education, hence its passion for producing teachers.

The B.ED. programme aims to fully prepare students to give them understanding, competency, and teaching practice that meets demand in the profession.
