Application Process
The application procedure for Viva College of Diploma Engineering and Technology, Mumbai, is predominantly conducted via Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Below is a stepwise procedure for the application:
1. Online Application: The candidate should log in to the DTE Maharashtra website and visit CAP for submitting the application.
2. Document Submission: All mandatory documents like the 10th grade marksheet with domicile certificate (if any), category certificates (for all reserved category candidates) need to be uploaded.
3. Choice Filling: Choose Viva College and the course of your choice in order of preference on the online choice-filling form.
4. Merit List: The DTE will prepare and publish the merit list based on the 10th board marks of the candidates along with any other criteria set by the government.
5. Allocation of Seats: Seats will be allocated based on merit, choice-filled, and availability.
6. Fee Payment: After the allotment of the seat, the candidate must submit his fee within a stipulated period.
7. Document Verification: Go to the allotted institute, Viva College, for physical verification of the documents.
8. Institute-level Admissions: For the remaining 20% of seats the candidate can directly apply to Viva College. The merit list for these seats will be prepared on the basis of the 10th standard marks.

Degree wise Admission Process
Diploma in Civil Engineering: This program is offered with an intake of 60. Guidelines will be based on the DTE program;80% seats will be filled by Centralized Admission Process and the rest by the institute-based merit list.
Diploma In Computer Engineering: This program has an intake of 120 so a major one. Admission will again follow the CAP procedure, with 80% seats under the Centralized Admission Process and the rest by the Institute-based Admission procedure.
Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: The program itself has a seat intake of 30. Similarly, 80% seats are filled through CAP and 20% through the institute.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: The seat intake for this course is 90 and the criteria for admission is the same as any of the other programs wherein 80% seats are given through CAP and 20% through institute level.
Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: This newly created program has intake of 60. The admission procedure here is the same throughout, with 80% CAP followed by 20% of institute-based admissions.
