Vivekanand VIPF Institute of Education, Aurangabad Admission Process

To train students on teacher education courses, the Vivekanand VIPF Institute of Education set up an NCTE-approved affiliated college. Entries into the institute are strictly merit-based as admission is based on the aggregate score in qualifying examinations. An institute may include a test for entry or personal interviews in the admission process should it see it necessary.  Generally, admission processes for Vivekanand VIPF Institute of Education would run parallel to the academic calendar so that the admission process may begin many months earlier.

Application Process:

1. Fill in the application form with the correct personal and academic entries.

2. If a candidate is seeking admission for B.Ed, register for the Combined Entrance Test announced in the college or university website.

3. If it is D.El.Ed, then prepare for considering merit or taking an entrance test based on the guidelines of the institute.

4. Submit the completely filled application form with the following enclosures, which can be:

  • A passport-sized photograph
  • The marks sheets of qualifying exams
  • Date of birth documents
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Other required proofs needed according to the institute

5. Pay the application fee as prescribed in the mode of payment.

6. For B.Ed applicants: Attend the Common Entrance Test on the designated date.

7. Wait until the merit list or the result of the entrance exam is declared.

8. If succeeded, wait for the counseling or interview sessions required by the institute.

9. Complete formalities relating to admission which include document verification and payment of fees - all within specified timeframes if selected.

Admission process according to degree

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The intake of 100 seats for the B.Ed program has been approved at Vivekanand VIPF Institute of Education. Admission into the B.Ed program will be through a Combined Entrance Test. Dates and other details concerning this entrance test are available on the college website as well as the website of the affiliating university. To be considered suitable for admission, all candidates have to qualify this entrance test.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The admitted intake number of the D.El.Ed program is also 100. The process of admission regarding D.El.Ed will be on merit on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination. Alternatively, admission may be granted based on performance in an entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government or the affiliating body.
