About ISI Admission Test 2025

ISI admission test 2025- Indian Statistical Institute has announced the ISI admission test 2025 date online. The exam will be held on May 11, 2025. The authority will release the complete schedule for the ISI 2025 entrance exam on the official website, isical.ac.in. The application form for ISI admission is expected to be released in March. The authority will conduct the ISI admission test 2025 for entrance to several UG, PG and doctoral programmes.

The authority will issue an admit card for those who complete the ISI test 2025 registration on time. Candidates must carry the ISI admit card 2025 to the exam centre compulsorily. It will consist of candidates’ basic details, ISI admission test centre name, time of reporting and other information. Aspirants must check the ISI admission test exam pattern and syllabus before starting their preparation and plan accordingly. Based on previous year information, the MTech exam will consist of two parts, objective and descriptive respectively. The total duration of the test will be four hours.

About the ISI Admission Test 

ISI Admission Test is an annual examination, conducted by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI). Students seeking admission to UG, PG and Doctoral programmes in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and other fields can apply for this test. Also, the institute provides MTech admission based on GATE. Three courses, M.Tech Computer Science, M.Tech Cryptology and Security and M.Tech Quality, Reliability & Operations Research are available at ISI.

M.Tech

The authority will release the ISI 2025 admission test eligibility conditions online. Students applying for the ISI admission test 2025 must go through the eligibility criteria to ensure that their application will be accepted. As per the previous year's notice, candidates must have either of the given degrees to be eligible for ISI admission 2025 M.Tech.

  • Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/ Physics/ Electronic Science/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Information Technology or, 
  • BE/B. Tech. degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE or, DOEACC ‘B’ Level).

                                                    ISI Admission Test M.Tech Selection Process (GATE Channel)

                                                    The candidates applying through GATE channel must have a valid GATE score. 

                                                    • For GEN and EWS categories the score required is 750 (out of 1000) and the same for  OBC/NCL category and for SC/ST/PwD categories are 675 and 525 respectively.
