Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) was established in 2002 by Shri Lakshmi Ammal Education Trust. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research is approved by the UGC and ranked 59th in NIRF ranking 2020 in the university domain. However, in NIRF 2021 ranking, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research has been ranked 75th in the overall category. As per the NIRF ranking 2021 for the university category, BIHER has been ranked 51 and the NIRF ranking in the same category for the year 2020 was 59. The institute is spread over a massive campus size of 305 acres with a faculty strength of 1702. The total number of students enrolled is 15,589. The institute offers admissions at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The disciplines in which these courses are offered are - Technology, Commerce, Science, Arts, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Architecture and Computer Applications. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research Admissions

The institute offers admission at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The disciplines in which these admissions are offered are- Technology, Commerce, Science, Arts, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Architecture and Computer Applications. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research admissions to undergraduate courses are based on the marks obtained in 10+2 examinations or its equivalent. The admissions to B. Tech courses are offered according to the marks obtained in Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE). The admissions to B. Arch courses are offered on the basis of rank scored by students in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research admissions to postgraduate courses is based on the marks obtained in graduation or its equivalent.
