Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is named after the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the freedom fighter and outstanding scholar, who was the first Education Minister of Independent India and who has envisioned and laid the foundation of technical, scientific and higher education in India. The University was established in 1998, and it promotes and develops the Urdu Language to impart education and training in vocational and technical subjects through the medium of Urdu. This provides wider access to people willing to pursue the programmes of higher education and training in Urdu medium. MANUU is a member of Association of Indian Universities, Association of Commonwealth Universities, Asian Association of Open Universities, Association for the Study of Persionate Societies, India International Centre and Indian Academy of Social Sciences. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in the vocational and technical subject through its seven schools of studies.
The University currently offers 97 courses in regular and distance modes, 25 PhD programmes, 27 PG programmes; 15 UG programmes, 2 PG Diploma, and 19 Diploma programmes including technical diploma programmes through Polytechnics, and 9 certificates courses. It also offers vocational programmes through Industrial Training Institutes (8 Certificate Trades). MANUU has its presence in 13 states across India and has two satellite campuses, one in Lucknow and Srinagar.

Grievance Redressal Cell: This cell of MANNU is committed to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against students and takes active steps towards any violation.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell: The aim of IQAC is to plan, guide, and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement activities of the Institution. Various programmes and project are implemented under this cell.
Anti Ragging Committee: Anti-Ragging Committee of MANNU ensures there is no ragging happening on the campus and takes strict action against those who are found guilty. The cell also organises the programmes which make students aware of human rights, its violation and legislature which protect the rights.
Alumni Association: This association of MANNU is dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity. The alumni association regularly meet and promote updated skills and training for youth development and employability.
NSS: NSS wings of MANNU conduct a variety of activities, such as orphanage visits, awareness programs and health camps. In addition, the NSS holds annual camps in a rural location, where students assist the residents in the development of their village.

Yes,everything is available in my college. our classroom is very clean ,two types of boards are also available,Green board and white board .we have a central library in our college and all the departments have separate libraries .There is also a sports center available in our college ,which is named Indoor stadium ,in which games badminton and other games are played.There are 4 boys hostels and 2 Girls hostels in our college in which 24 hours WiFi is available.Food and living place is very clean
