The Master of Physiotherapy in Cardiorespiratory (MPT. Cardiorespiratory), is a two years postgraduate Physiotherapy degree level course of study in India. The program is designed to prepare candidates for the various way and method of treatment and exuberating with the cardiological problem, therapies on the human heart, by going through all this way candidates are able to understand the response of the heart to various exercise and therapies is taught in detail under the interdisciplinary course. The master professional study contains a detailed study of various kind of actions that can be performed on the heart to make it more efficient and healthy in its working. The program provides practicing physiotherapist with opportunities to study for a specialized course for accelerating their career in various fields. The course develops candidates as a qualified and experienced clinician with the ability to broden their theoretical knowledge , clinical skill with strong communication skill, influencing practices and service delivery in the area of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. The course of study is suitable for those candidates who want to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquiring a critical understanding of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Physiotherapy in Cardiopulmonary, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Medical and Surgical Management of Disorder of the Cardiopulmonary System, Physiotherapy Management in Disorder of the Cardiopulmonary System, Research Methodology and Biostatistics, Basic Computer Application, clinical Practice, Pedagogy in Respiratory System Education, Management / Administration and Ethical Issues, Biomechanics.

The Master degree holder have excellent career opportunities in Colleges & Universities, Private clinical Practices and also provide services in Numerous clinics, Rehabilitation Centers, Government Hospital ( Cardio Health Department), Cardio Health Management Clinics, etc. After the successful completion of the course, one can be recognised as Pulmonologist and able to work as Consultant Doctor, Trainee Coder, Fitness Trainer, Medical Coding Executive, Club Manager, Health Educator(Cardiopulmonary), Professor, Lecturer, Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy Instructor, Healthcare Administrator, Therapist Assistant, Personal Trainer, Adviser, etc.


Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. (PT) / BPT / BPT through Bridge Course or Lateral Entry with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate and a minimum of 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship in Physiotherapy.
