Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) is a state university located in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 2005 with the aim of providing higher education opportunities to people who are unable to pursue regular courses due to various reasons like geographic location, financial constraints, work commitments, etc. UOU Haldwani has a total of 8 regional centres, Four each in Kumaun region and Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.

UOU offers a wide range of diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and certificate courses in various disciplines. The university follows a flexible and open system of education, allowing students to pursue their studies through distance learning mode. It conducts regular examinations and provides study materials to the students.

College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure is good. The classes are equipped with smart boards. The classes are clean. Hostels too are good in terms of cleanliness. The rooms are provided on a sharing basis. Overall Infrastructure is good.

WiFi facility s available and 24*7 water and supply. College campus is too good. I like very much . Teacher staff is also good. Teachers are helping . All is good in uttarakhand open University . I really like it.
