    Alva’s College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, set up in the year 2003 is an affiliated college in Moodbidri, Karnataka. Located on a 3-acre piece of land, this institution is famous for offering education in naturopathy and yogic sciences. The college delivers 3 courses from two different degrees, with a total student enrolment of 462 and total faculty strength of 16. Being an affiliated college with RGUHS, the principles of which are freedom and quality, it is more centred on offering competition-quality education in the field of alternative medicine with an emphasis on naturopathy and yoga.

    A variety of facilities are available that are functional in the learning activities and social development of students in the college. It has acquired a well-stocked library with more than 2000 medical books, journals and the latest publications, besides having a broadband internet facility. In academics, there are an adequate number of Computer Laboratories, Basic Science Laboratories with a separate dissection hall and museum for anatomy. Other facilities are an AC auditorium for conducting events and seminars, a health centre equipped with first aid essentials, a canteen and transport facilities for the hostellers.

    Alva’s College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences imparts a total of three full-time courses. These include the six-year undergraduate course, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS), and two postgraduate programmes of three years’ duration each, namely, the MD Clinical Naturopathy and MD Clinical Yoga. 

    Alva’s College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences follows NEET university as a major criterion for admission to its university. This exam is necessary for admission to the college, and it is the national level test that every college uses for admission to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. According to the requirements currently set for the BNYS programme, the candidates must attend the NEET examination. Likewise, for the MD programmes in Clinical Naturopathy and Clinical Yoga, the qualifying examination is NEET only.

    MD Clinical Naturopathy is a three-year postgraduate course. The admissions are based on the NEET-PG exam. The BNYS graduates can apply for the same. Advanced training in the practices of clinical naturopathy is offered through the course.

    Hello. It would be better if you specify the college name and the branch you are interested in.

    Anyways mostly the college fees is between 1lakh and  4 lakh per year. It will depend on the type of college and university.
