Aurora’s Design Academy, Hyderabad, was set up in the year 2015 and is an affiliated college set in the lively city of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. This institute of design and architecture has been approved by the Council of Architecture that also governs education in design and architecture. Covering a total area of 0.86776 acres, Aurora’s Design Academy continues to grow and develop not only a new and modern campus that it occupies in Hyderabad but also a new and refined pedagogy where 143 students attend the academy. The institute has 15 dedicated faculty members.
Several accommodations in the institute make sure that the students have a favourable environment, and the establishment will provide essential amenities for students. On the campus, there are separate hostels for boys and girls with comfortable and large rooms that are well furnished and equip with TV, telephone and internet connection. The library is a treasure trove of information on architecture, urban planning and allied technical disciplines. It has stocked a number of books, national and international journals, and popular technical magazines. The Multimedia Centre section has ten computers connected to the internet and the members can access various e-library International journal. For recreation and exercising, Aurora’s Design Academy has a 910 sq.m multipurpose outdoor games facility for such activities as badminton, volley ball and cricket. Carroms and chess, which can be played indoors, are also available in a few of the outdoor and partly outdoor facilities.
Aurora's Design Academy offers three full-time courses. These are B.Arch, B.Tech Planning, and M.Arch Interior Design. The overall capacity for these courses are 100 students in which 80 intake for the B.Arch programme and 20 intake for M.Arch Interior Design.
The entry requirement at Aurora’s Design Academy differs from one course to another. For the B.Arch programme, the admission is through NATA – National Aptitude Test in Architecture , an entrance examination. The B.Tech Planning course is in a different system with 70 positions under counselling procedure and 30 positions under management quota. It also offers admission in this programme through the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test –TS EAMCET conducted by JNT University Hyderabad. For the M.Arch Interior Design programme, it is enroled through the PGCET or GATE test. GATE, NATA and TS EAMCET are the standard entrance test accepted by the institute making the competition reasonable with the deserved students.

Aurora's Design Academy Degree wise Admission Process

The Bachelor of Architecture programme at Aurora's Design Academy accepts a maximum of 80 students. The admission to this programme is based on the performance of the candidate in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The NATA exam measures the aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking, and drawing skills of applicants, which are essential to pursue a bachelor's degree in architecture.
Approved intake for this programme is 20 students. The selection process for M.Arch Interior Design is based on the PGCET or GATE score. Eligible applicants are those who have received a bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline. The selection process may comprise evaluation of the applicant's academic record and performance on the admission examination.
Aurora's Design Academy offers a B.Tech Planning course with a very distinct admission process.
