Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College, Vadodara, is one of the known colleges for homoeopathic education. The affiliated college was established in the year 1992 at Vadodara, Gujarat. This college has been approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy for the high standards of homoeopathic education. The campus area has been spread over the 3 acres land and BHMC provides an ideal learning and research environment. The college enjoys a complete student enrolment population of 558 and a faculty strength of 28, hence has maintained a very decent student-teacher ratio. With six courses to offer in the department of Homoeopathy, BHMC specialises in various aspects of this discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.

The facilities are an addition to the learning environment for students in the institutions. Unique features include a fully safe girls' hostel, directly adjacent to the College and Hospital buildings. The 28,000 sq. ft. hostel accommodates 196 female students in 48 rooms, each with attached bathrooms. The hostel provides a safe home living environment, 24-hour security, and a college-run mess for providing nutritious meals to inmates. The medical training takes place at BHMC's own 40-bed hospital, covering 65,000 sq. It has a campus area of 5,393 sq. ft. and The library of the college is well-stocked and sprawls over an area of 3,012 sq. ft. It provides internet facilities, printing facilities, and a book bank facility. Other facilities provided include the sports facility, IT infrastructure, cafeteria, well-equipped laboratories for practical learning, etc.

The admission at BHMC is made at the national level through entrance examinations. Admissions to BHMS are made through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The Post Graduate MD programs are done through AIAPGET. The AIAPGET minimum passing criterion is 50%. The admission to the college is centralised. In the process, a written test is compulsorily followed up by a counselling interview. This helps to ensure that the most meritorious and serious candidates make it into programmatic studies at BHMC. BHMC accepts NEET for undergraduate admissions and NEET PG for postgraduate admissions.

BHMC MD Application Process

  • Qualify for the AIAPGET, scoring a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Register for the centralised AYUSH PG courses counselling processing system.
  • Fill in counselling application form and deposit application fee.
  • Upload all requisite documents, such as BHMS degree, the internship completion certificate, and AIAPGET score card.
  • Participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
  • If selected for BHMC, then report to the college for completing the final admission procedure.

BHMC Eligibility Process

Eligibility requirements are different for various programmes. Candidates who wish to pursue BHMS must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects. Applicants for the postgraduates must be graduates with a BHMS from a recognised institution. The important dates concern the BHMC admission process, which merge with those of the national-level entrance exams. NEET is usually held in May, and results are published in June. BHMC BHMS Admission Process

BHMS: BHMC admission at BHMC is based on NEET. The undergraduate seats are hundred for this programme and candidates are obliged to qualify in NEET and take part in the centralised counselling process for seat allocations.

BHMC MD Admission Process

  • MD Homoeopathic Materia Medica: 6 vacancies have been allocated for this programme. BHMC admission shall be secured through AIAPGET and centralized counselling process. Candidates must possess BHMS degree as well as a minimum of 50% in AIAPGET.
  • MD Homoeopathic Repertory and Case Taking: The same as with other MD programmes, this has 6 seats and an AIAPGET-based admission system. Pre requisite, it demands a BHMS degree, while students must clear the score threshold of 50% in AIAPGET.
  • MD Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy: This has 4 seats. BHMC admission process is like other MD courses, requiring qualification in AIAPGET and then counselling.
  • MD Practice of Medicine: This programme has 3 seats under it; the admission mode follows that of other MD courses at BHMC.
  • MD Paediatrics: This specialised MD course similarly has 3 seats, and the BHMC admissions follow the standard post-graduate entry by AIAPGET admission.

BHMC Documents Required
