Carmel College Thrissur is one of the leading institution which was set up in the year 1981 at Mala, Kerala. The college provides BA programmes in Functional English, Sociology, History, and Political Science. All four programmes admit students on the basis of merit. BA Sociology has 30 seats, while BA Political Science (Self-Financed) has 40 seats.
B.Com in Finance and Computer Applications (Self-Finance) and BBA (Self-Finance) are offered by Carmel College. Carmel College admission to these programmes is based on academic merit in the qualifying examination. The B.Com Financial programme has 40 seats, and the BBA also offers 40 seats.
An innovative B.Voc program is offered in software development, multimedia, fashion technology, accounting and taxation, banking financial services and insurance, and agriculture.
