College of Teacher Education, Unakoti Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

College of Teacher Education, Unakoti is an affiliated college and situated in Kumarghat, Tripura. The teacher education institution is therefore accredited with the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE.

The College of Teacher Education in Unakoti has defined merit list processes for admissions to its teacher education programs. The institute offers two main programs, namely: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), both of which have a 2-year duration.

The B.Ed. merit-list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates from the Madhyamik (10th standard) examination onward for the streaming and category-wise merit listing of candidates (Science/Arts/Commerce) for BEEd admission consideration. Candidates can also avail the Merit List using their CUET UG scores.

Application Process

Admission in College of Teacher Education, Unakoti contains the following applications:

1. Eligibility check: Confirm that you satisfy the eligibility measures required for the program you want to apply in (B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.).

2. CUET UG Examination: Register to take and fill out the Common University Entrance Test (UG). This exam runs between May 15, 2025, and May 24, 2025, and is going to be done online.

3. Application Form: Eligible candidates fill the application form for College of Teacher Education, Unakoti once the CUET UG results are announced. It will be available on the college official website.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education):

The flagship course of the College of Teacher Education, Unakoti is B.Ed. It has an intake capacity of 100 seats. Merit lists for admission to B.Ed. courses will be independently prepared using the marks obtained in and after the Madhyamik examination. These merit lists will be created for different streams (Science/Arts/Commerce) and categories (ST/SC/UR/PH/ESM). Students must also have appeared for the CUET UG.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):

The college has the D.El.Ed. program intake capacity of 50 seats. Nevertheless, since some details of this program may be lacking, it is probable that the admissions here will be conducted similarly via merit scoring as in B.Ed.
