College of Teacher Education, Unakoti is an affiliated college and situated in Kumarghat, Tripura. The teacher education institution is therefore accredited with the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. The College of Teacher Education admission has defined merit list processes for its teacher education programmes. The institute offers two main programmes, namely Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), both of which have a 2-year duration.

Admission in College of Teacher Education, Unakoti, contains the following applications:

College of Teacher Education B.Ed Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education): The flagship course of the College of Teacher Education, Unakoti is B.Ed. It has an intake capacity of 100 seats. Merit lists for admission to B.Ed. courses will be independently prepared using the marks obtained in and after the Madhyamik examination. These merit lists will be created for different streams (Science/Arts/Commerce) and categories (ST/SC/UR/PH/ESM). Students must also have appeared for the CUET UG.

College of Teacher Education D.El.Ed Admission Process

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The college has the D.El.Ed. programme intake capacity of 50 seats. Nevertheless, since some details of this programme may be lacking, it is probable that the admissions here will be conducted similarly via merit scoring as in B.Ed.
