The College of Teacher Education, Unakoti, was established in 2015 as an affiliated college at Kumarghat, Tripura. This college admits both male and female students, whose focus in offering teacher education was accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located in a 6.25-acre compound, the college currently has a total student enrolment of 299 students and 13 faculty members. The institute aims to produce competent and effective teachers to meet the needs of the growing teaching profession in the future through two degree programmes. College of Teacher Education D.El.Ed Admission Process
D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The college has the D.El.Ed. programme intake capacity of 50 seats. Nevertheless, since some details of this programme may be lacking, it is probable that the admissions here will be conducted similarly via merit scoring as in B.Ed.
