DAV College Kanpur Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Hi, my name is Vaibhav Gupta and I took admission in the college for my B.Com course for the year 2020-2023. If I have to talk about the infrastructure of the college at those years was not up to the mark that it should be for a graduation college, though I will say that in my last year they were taking efforts for the improvement of the college infrastructure.

Talking about academics in all the years I would say that as it was a government college so it also has a pure characteristics of a majority typical government colleges in India as the faculties were not interested in teaching something updated for upcoming batches.

Talking about placements, again the campus placements in the college were nearly nill. I was not at all satisfied with the campus placements as the top members of the college were nearly hadn't taken efforts to connect and invite the companies for campus drive.

Talking about how much value for money the college was I would say that the college was good at terms of value for money because the yearly fees of the college was very much affordable and from that perspective the faculty members were also okay.

Talking about campus life I would say that the campus was decent enough but life their was nothing as they were not at all interested in any activities, functions or any other campaigns for the better engagement of students in the college.

So afterall if I have to suggest my graduation college to anybody so it's obvious that I will not suggest it others because apart from affordablility factor there is nothing in the college is appreciable. So I if anyone has financial problems they can take admission in the college for the degree else not worth it.

College looks old from outside,it needs renovation and it has no air conditioner,no smart wifi,old chair and table some are broken,it has labs with all necessary equipment,living spaces are clean and hygienic as well

I'm studying bachelor of science currently because I want to prepare for neet and I'm currently preparing for that only, quality of study is good teacher are very polite they're present everytime, curriculum remains up to date

Placement process is not so good,it is a very slow process,not many companies visit college campus and the one which visit do not provide a decent package, students are mostly not aware of placeme cell

Students don't come to college and that's the worst thing about college. Also administration needs improvement. They lack communication with University and don't know anything. Faculty of teachers is actually very good.

College looks old from outside from inside also it's too old,old furniture,old fans,it needs renovation,no wifi,no smart wifi board,they have a good ground for cricket and football,it has a ped room also

Teachers are very good , they are present everytime , teachers are very polite they solve every doubt they give us theory as well as practical knowledge which helps a lot of students, syllabus is up to date

I did my bachelor's of commerce in this college, teachers were good,they clear doubts whenever I ask them something, teachers are very polite, syllabus is up to date ,they provide practical knowledge as well

My college infrastructure was good if I say according to looks so my college was good. They provide many facilities like games, sports, wifi etc. The classrooms were very good it was very clean and hygienic. Yes all the living spaces were clean and food was hygienic.

I studied MA in English literature from there because I like English since my school time that's why I did MA with English. The quality of our teaching were good they all were supportive. No my curriculum was not updated yet.

There were no placement facilities in my college. I did MA so MA is very normal so for MA there were no placement facility. I don't have any idea about higher salary package offered because as I earlier told that there were no placement facilities in my college. But yes my college were supportive.

I paid 4000 as my yearly basis fees. But yes I say that many of the students who haven't continue his or her studies because of financial issue so this college is very helpful for students as this reason anyone can continue his or her studies with less amount of fee. Yes that's why I feel getting my money worth.

I don't have many things to say about my campus because I didn't visit college at regular basis. But I say that my campus is good. There were many activities in which many students were engage in. Out teachers and staff were supportive. The location was good anyone can visit very easily.

My college infrastructure was good. The college has a huge playground many facilities like sports,games like cricket , swimming. Our classrooms were nice , clean. Our college provide wifi facility. All the living spaces were clean.

I studies MA from there. Because I want master's degree because with that we have many opportunities regarding job we can secure our career. All sectors of business welcome master's graduation in economics. The qualities of our teachers were good. No mh curriculum is not updated yet.

The quality in our college was not good. As I want to say no company comes for placement in my college so that's why there is no higher and lower package. They just provides bachelor's as well as master's degree to their student .

My yearly college fee was 4000. It was just ohk According to fees I say the college was ohk if any student have financial issue so they can continue his or her studies with less amount of fees. Yes I feel getting my money worth.

My campus life was not very good. Bexause I didn't go colleges in regular basis. So I have not more thing to say about campus. There were so many activities in which students engage like games, sports, dance, singing, etc The teachers were supportive. The location is good anyone can easily visit

I recommend thus college.

The infrastructure is overall decent but requires some renovation, as the building is an old heritage made up of red brick. The living spaces are fine, but certainly the hygiene factor can be improved.

The professors are highly qualified, but the students have to make an equal effort to extract quality knowledge and information from the faculty. The faculty also helps students appearing students for paper or other activities.

As the college focuses on academic courses, there are hardly any prospects for student placements. Mostly, students apply for courses and do post-graduation and appear for the government examinations.

Since the fess are very minimal, there are no placements. It's a good option for people who want to make a career in teaching or for people who want to graduate for the purpose of appearing in other government jobs or higher education.

Since college is a day scholar college and most students belong to the same city, so there is almost no campus life apart from attending classes. The campus life is limited to certain activities only.

For a student looking to complete an undergraduate or post graduate course its a good place but if someone wants to get placed in a private job they should look for a college offering professional courses and campus placements.

There is a huge library at my college.Classrooms are clean and department is good. It is a government college so for that reason classrooms are old and not fully furnished in our college.Dont come here with a big hope.

Teachers here are helpful and talented in their respective subject.Curriculum is relevant for the student.But due to lack of students interest and dedication their knowledge is of no use.If you prepare well you will score well.

Almost 20 to 30 percent of students got placed in our college as i said dont come here with big hopes.Students can apply for jobs outside the college there are ample amount of jobs in the field.thats it
