Delhi School of Journalism as a constituent part of Delhi University, is offering education at journalism and mass communication level. Meanwhile, Delhi School of Journalism admission procedure is very competitive to attract brilliant and zealous students from across India. Most importantly, DSJ employs the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG) to take Delhi School of Journalism admission; this is considered to be the fairest and most objective entry point for selection.
The CUET UG exam for the next session will be held in between May 15, 2025, and May 24, 2025. This functions as an important scale for Delhi School of Journalism admissions into the integrated Journalism Bachelor and Master degree programmes available for this course. Generally, students are advised to prepare well for CUET UG because the merit lists of Delhi School of Journalism will depend on performance in this test.
The application process for Delhi School of Journalism goes with the centralised admission system of the University of Delhi which is basically CUET UG based process. This is the step-by-step application process:
These are the 3 courses available in Delhi School of Journalism:
Bachelor of Journalism and Master of Journalism Integrated (5-year programme) offers admission into this course through the CUUT UG, and this flagship programme of DSJ is fully integrated for all journalism education at undergraduate level and postgraduate level. This comprehensive understanding into journalism leads to a five-year programme culminating in the award of bachelor's and master's degrees in both fields.
The college has been offering this three-year BA in Journalism to those desiring to take a focused undergraduate study on this subject. While no specific admission details have been stated, it would be safe to assume that the CUET UG score would also apply to this programme in accordance with the college's general admission policy.
MA Journalism (2-year programme) is for students intending to take their master's degree studies at the DSJ, to be offered as a two-year Master of Arts in Journalism. There are no specific admission requirements, thereby giving prospective students a warning of possible highly competitive selection measures that would probably consider their undergraduate performance and relevant entrance scores.
Your admission will only be finalised upon successful submission of documents.
The campus is fine, but not as fancy as I imagined. Classrooms are basic, and the ACs don’t work sometimes. The library is small but has enough books for journalism students. Wi-Fi is available, but it’s slow most of the time. Canteen food is okay-ish, but not much variety. Overall, it’s manageable but could be better in some ways.
They have the best infrastructure. They have the best library which has all the necessary books and journals. They provide best sports ground which has all the necessary equipments. Delhi school of joirnalism is a paradise
Equipments are there but to have them we need to really go office often and the reason behind it is few students harm the equipments earlier and the equipments came by the tough argument of our seniors but yeah equipment are there
