    About EMEA College of Arts and Science, Malappuram

    EMEA College of Arts and Science for Women, situated at Malappuram district of Kerala, was started in 1982. This affiliated college is situated in a 20-acre expanse of land and has also received the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation. EMEA College has a total enrolment of 1766 and a faculty of 29 members and offers 20 courses in 9 degree programmes. The institute is also gender-prejudice since there are 676 male students and 1, 351 female students studying in the institute. 

    EMEA College of Arts and Science for Women boasts many facilities for improving the learning provision of the students. The campus contains a modern library with a stock of approximately 30000 books and 5000 journals, and Information & Communication Technology Library with INFLIBNET. Athletics lovers have the customs central with facilities including a 400 meters race track, a cricket field and a football pitch. Some of the core IT infrastructure amenities include an air conditioned computer laboratory that is fitted with sixty working stations equipped with the recent software and programming tools. The college also has two different hostels for boys and girls respectively, the girls’ hostel has the capacity to house up to 200 student.

    Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with relatively higher acceptance rates are offered in EMEA College of Arts and Science. The college offers a total of 20 courses. The institute offers 15 undergraduate programmes which comprises B.Com Computer Applications, B.Sc Microbiology and BA Economics each constituting 60 students intake. At postgraduate level, the college offers 5 programmes out of which are M.Sc Microbiology and M.Com Finance. Also, the college has developed fresh courses called B.Voc in areas of Professional Accounting & Taxation, Logistic Management and Islamic Finance that address the outcome of various sectors.

    EMEA arts and science college is runned by erananad muslim educational association. EMEA college have high quality library but the lab facilities for science group is very poor. EMEA college is well cleaned and have beautiful gardens.

    BA West Asian studies is a 3 years undergraduate degree course offered by university of Calicut which is situated at malappuram. They have only 60 seats.The only eligibility criteria is that you should have pass your 10 + 2 level examination from a recognised board. I don't think
