Gitanjali College of Education in Birbhum, West Bengal, India, as a co-educational institution with the objective of developing prospective teachers. Graduates are eligible to apply for this program which specializes in secondary level education.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): This two-year full-time program also allows for 100 students to study. Admissions to this D.El.Ed program are based on merit including marks from qualifying examinations and/or a programme-specific Entrance Test. It is subject to State Government and U.T. Administrative policy. This course specializes in primary education and is suitable for candidates who have completed their higher secondary education.
