Careers360 shortlists over 5000 colleges across domains each year. Out of these colleges, only those colleges are rated/ranked which provide transparent data requested by Careers360. The cumulative scores of colleges are then calculated and they are divided into clusters as per their scores. Careers360 ranks private and government colleges separately as the support system of both types of Institutions is completely different.
Rating Methodology: Based on the individual scores secured by colleges in respective parameters the cumulative score of all the colleges ranked is calculated.
Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The college has a boys' hostel, Sibram Chatrabas which provides hostel facilities to 60 male students. The application of students from distant areas would be given priority.
The college has a library building was in the old premises. Later on, when the new building constructed the library has been shifted to new premises named Jnan Bhaban in 2014. the library has a collection of about 22,900 books and 186 Pamphlets. In addition to this publication, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is kept as a special collection consisting of 418 books and 4 pamphlets. Along with this, there is a separate Book Bank consisting of 171 books. Book Bank facilities are open only for poor students. Some books have been purchased for SC and ST students only from the Remedial fund consisting of 1706 books and 11 pamphlets. Some books have been purchased for minority community students only from the Remedial fund consisting of 1333 books and 11 pamphlets. It has adequate facilities with easy access to all its members. It is open to all bonafide students, teachers, and other members of the college.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
There is a canteen at our college campus. The students and faculty members avail of this opportunity.
The college has an Alumni Association organizes reunion, cultural programs and offers suggestions for the development of our College. The Alumnus helps N.S.S. units to organize the special camp, Blood donation camp. Gour Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association donated Glow Sign Board for the main gate and they organized a reunion on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebration. All the Alumni are requested to subscribe to Rs.10/ as a registration fee for membership of this association.
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
