Hindu College of Education in Guntur is a co-educational institution committed to providing quality teacher education. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers two primary programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed.). The total intake of the college as a whole is 100 and that does not specify the number for D.Ed., though it is now likely to be split between B.Ed. and D.Ed. admission procedure under D.Ed. also shall be through merit usually based on candidate performance in the 10+2 examination.
