It follows the admission policy of the Tamil Nadu State Government and its affiliated university. Undergraduate degrees in the relevant discipline constitute eligibility for B.Ed courses.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program is a two-year full-time program having a capacity of 50 students. The D.El.Ed Admission process is adopted by B.Ed merit of the candidate at qualifying examinations and/or entrance examination. The particular norms mentioned with regard to D.El.Ed. admissions are framed by the state government or UT administration.
