About Impact Polytechnic, Bangalore

Impact Polytechnic Bangalore was started in the year 1983 at Sahakara Nagar South, Bangalore. It is an AICTE approved institute and presents a number of diploma courses in different engineering fields. Located in a small plot of one acre of land, Impact Polytechnic has in its strength a total of 430 students onwards and 45 staff members. The institute offers nine diplomas in engineering across disciplines which cater for the of the would-be engineers. Being a polytechnic institute, the main scope of Impact Polytechnic lies in offering students the good preparation for engineers profession which demand is going to grow in the nearest future.

Impact Polytechnic has a number of facilities the are in place to improve the learning experience of the students. There is also hostels for students who come from outside the town and to enhance the out of town students the institute has separated the hostels for boys and girls. The campus has facilities of the latest Information Technology hence the students are in touch with the modern technology. All of these function as an important part of a learning process: library as a source of knowledge, cafeteria as a place to rest and communicate. The college also attaches importance to physical health with sport amenities and owns an auditorium for activities and lectures. Spending a day in the departmental laboratory acts as a practical session and transport facilities for those who travel to the institution. Further, the campus has parking space to cater for the parking needs of its community members.

In all the institute provides nine diploma courses and all of it is a full time course. These courses covers all fields of engineering making it easy for students to find their interest within these fields. With regards the specific number of its graduates the information is lacking however the existence of institute dedicated to the technical education points at preparation of qualified professionals for the industry.

Diploma in Machine Tools Technology: Offering 30 seats, this program is specialized in admitting students based on merit through a centralized admission process. It suits students with interests in the fields of manufacturing and production technology.
