Degree wise Admission Process
BA: Jain College conducts a Bachelor of Arts program with an approved intake of 360 seats. The admission into the program is strictly by merit, and the candidate's performance in the 12th standard examination is the most important consideration. Candidates who completed their 12th standard in any stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce) can apply.
B.Sc (Math, Physics, and Chemistry): The number of seats sanctioned for this course is 180. Candidates are eligible to apply if they have completed their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Admission is based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
B.Com: A total of 120 seats are available for B.Com. Students who have passed their 12th standard are eligible to apply, preferably with Commerce. Admission is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
B.Com Computer Applications: This is a specialized application in Commerce, which also has an intake of 120 seats. Candidates who have completed their 12th standard, should preferably be with Commerce and Computer Science subjects. Admission is on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry): This program has an approved intake of 90 seats. Students who have passed their 12th standard with Biology and Chemistry as their core subjects are eligible. Admission is based on the marks in Biology and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
PGDCA: The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications has 60 seats. Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying graduation degree.
MA Hindi: This is a postgraduate program with an intake of 30 seats. Candidates who graduated with Hindi as one of the subjects are eligible to apply. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying graduation degree.
M.Com: Students can also sign up for M.Com. Seats available are not mentioned, although admission into this program is granted according to marks received in B.Com or equivalent degree.
