Jameela Beevi Memorial Centre for Teacher Education, one of the prestigious institutions present in Kayamkulam, Kerala, is committed to building the future of the educational domain. This college has been training would-be teachers for almost two decades since its establishment in 2005 as a co-educational institution. Located on a plot of acres, the institute, for its 99 enrolled students, provides a compact learning atmosphere. The college has a faculty team of 10 teachers. Jameela Beevi Memorial Centre for Teacher Education is highly focused and offers only Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two-year full-time course for training professional teachers with an accreditation of 50 students per year. The programme comprises theoretical learning and practical classroom teaching approaches that give learners the ability to tackle modern classrooms effectively. Currently the institute provides one degree programme, but because the focus is narrowed, the students can provide a deeper look into the educational theories and practices.
