About Kerala University

One of the first 16 institutions in India, the University of Kerala was founded in 1937 and was formerly known as the University of Travancore. The Maharajah of Travancore, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama, who also served as the institution's first chancellor, officially established Kerala University. The University of Kerala is connected with 167 colleges. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Kerala University is ranked 24th in the university category for 2023. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted the university accreditation. The goal of Kerala institution, a state institution, is to develop researchers and innovators as well as to serve the needs of businesses and policymakers. Classrooms are really well established and well maintained. Our college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. Campus and classrooms are wifi enabled. Both the library and laboratory facilities are good.

All of our classrooms have the smart boards , Laboratories are well equiped and we have a separate large library buildings for every departments and also there is a separate library for all. Living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.

Kuhs offers B.Sc. in Cardiovascular technology, in order to get admission in BCVT or any other B.Sc. course you need to score atleast 50% in 10 +2 examination having PCB stream and English as a language subject. The admission in KUHS for BCVT is purely based on merit basis.
