About Kerala University

One of the first 16 institutions in India, the University of Kerala was founded in 1937 and was formerly known as the University of Travancore. The Maharajah of Travancore, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama, who also served as the institution's first chancellor, officially established Kerala University. The University of Kerala is connected with 167 colleges. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Kerala University is ranked 24th in the university category for 2023. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted the university accreditation. The goal of Kerala institution, a state institution, is to develop researchers and innovators as well as to serve the needs of businesses and policymakers. All the University of Kerala courses are offered in different branches of study such as Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce, Education and others. Kerala University Scholarship

The university offers various scholarships to its students. Kerala University scholarships are offered based on merit and need. Students who wish to avail University of Kerala scholarships must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. The varsity offers scholarships to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Candidates must fill the Kerala University scholarship application form and must submit the required documents. University of Kerala scholarships are Students’ Aid Fund Scholarships, Merit-Based Scholarships, Student’s Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (SGPAIS) etc. Apart from these scholarships, students can also apply for state-level scholarships such as Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities, State Merit Scholarship, District Merit Scholarships, etc.

Classrooms are really well established and well maintained. Our college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. Campus and classrooms are wifi enabled. Both the library and laboratory facilities are good.

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. All of our classrooms have the smart boards , Laboratories are well equiped and we have a separate large library buildings for every departments and also there is a separate library for all. Living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.

Kuhs offers B.Sc. in Cardiovascular technology, in order to get admission in BCVT or any other B.Sc. course you need to score atleast 50% in 10 +2 examination having PCB stream and English as a language subject. The admission in KUHS for BCVT is purely based on merit basis.

how to get admission in kuhs (kerala university of health science) for ug course?

Hi there.

Students must take the medical entrance exam that is administered by the Medical/ Pharmacy/ Dental Council of India with regard to the programme in order to be admitted to KUHS. Admission to every undergraduate programme is made solely on the basis of merit, as determined by the relevant competent authorities.

Students who want to be admitted must submit an online application through the university website.

Applications must be sent along with the necessary paperwork.
