Students can join internship programs such as winter, summer, and six-month internships.
For me, JGU is certainly a value for money. The Fee structure is quite fair, with no unnecessary fees or charges. Considering its academic facilities, professors, and campus life, it is on the list of the world's top universities. Also, the accommodation charges include everything from you stay, food, laundry and other facilities such as access to the sports academy and health services. The classrooms are modern, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards that make lectures more interactive. The library is one of my favourite spaces on campus, quiet, spacious, and filled with an impressive collection of books, journals, and online databases. The hostels are clean, well-maintained, and have good security. Dining halls maintained by Sodexo offer hygienic, multi-cuisine vegetarian meals. The sports complexes, performance spaces, and even the green walkways enahnce the overall learning experience.
The PPE program at JSGP offers me an in-depth and intense understanding of philosophy, politics, and economics through an interdisciplinary approach. I engage in courses that link current issues to theory, and these further hone my skills in analysis and critical thinking. The faculty members have strong academic and professional backgrounds and adopt an approach that encourages open discussion, debate, and research-based learning. I really value the Global South perspective that shapes many classroom discussions. Courses are well-structured, and continuous evaluations through presentations, research papers, and seminars keep me consistently engaged and challenged throughout the semester.
Placement are quite strong at JSGP for a public policy and PPE programme. I have seen many school seniors secure roles in policy research, consulting, think tanks, NGOs, and development organisations. Over 80% of the 2022-24 batch received placements, with an average package of around 7.5 LPA. The median salary stood at 6.6 lakh, and the highest touched 11 lakh. The Office at Career Services provide resume workshops, mock interviews, and internship support, which builds confidence and improves employability from the early semesters.
Although the fees at Jindal are on the higher side, I really feel that the value which I derive justifies the investment quality of education, international exposure, infrastructure, faculty expertise, and academic networks is of long-term value. I also benefit from world-class campus facilities, continuous academic mentoring, and strong placement support, all combining to make this the overall experience worth its cost.

I get to participate in cultural festivals, theatre productions, music and dance performances, debates, film screenings, and art exhibitions throughout the year. Literary societies, policy clubs, and interdisciplinary platforms allow me to express ideas beyond the classroom. The cafes and food outlets provide great spots to unwind between classes. I find my perspective broadening every day. The perfect balance between academics and extracurricular life keeps my university experience dynamic and fulfilling.
The infrastructure at Jindal University is really good. Since the university campus is fully residential, everything you need is right there: Wi-Fi throughout, smart classrooms, and a huge central library that's great for hanging around and studying together. the hostels are actually quite nice; they are clean, you get decent space, and the maintenance is done on a regular basis. Plus, there are good sports facilities and other recreational activities that make living on campus comfortable and not just about academics all the time.
On the academic front, Jindal University takes an interdisciplinary approach, which I find quite valuable. The curriculum is designed in a way that it combines global affairs, international relations, law, and diplomacy. There is a clear push toward research and thinking critically about issues. What keeps classes interesting is that professors frequently use case studies and simulations instead of just lecturing at you, so you are actively engaging with real-world global problems rather than just reading about them in textbooks.
Placements here are reasonable if you are looking at careers in policy think tanks, NGOs, or international organizations. Some students end up in consulting or research positions, too. The career development team does help with guidance and connecting you with opportunities, but honestly, what you get out of placements depends quite a bit on what field you are targeting and how proactive you are about building your network and skills.
Jindal University is totally a value for money. The quality of faculty, the facilities, exposure to international perspectives, and the resources available for both academics and career development do add up to something substantial. Whether it is worth it really comes down to whether you actively take advantage of all these opportunities. If you do, then yeah, it is a good investment in your future.
Campus life here is honestly one of the highlights of being at Jindal University. The atmosphere here is lively and diverse, with cultural fests, debate competitions, sports tournaments, and guest lectures by interesting people. Being a residential university means you are always around your seniors, which naturally leads to forming close friendships and feeling like you are a part of a tight knit community.
