Degree wise Admission Process
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
LKMishra College of Teacher Education has an approved number of seats as 100 under the D.El.Ed programme. Admission to the two-year diploma course depends upon the merit of candidates, calculated by the performance of candidates in the entrance and/or qualifying examination. The process of selection follows the guidelines as prescribed by the state government or UT administration. The programme is meant for students who want to become teachers at elementary level.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed course also has an approved capacity of 100 seats and has the same admission process as the D.El.Ed course. Meritorious candidates are selected for this on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The admissions are carried out as per the policies of the state government, UT administration, and the parent university. The two-year degree course trains students to pursue a profession in secondary school teaching.
