Mahatma Gandhi College of Education, Jaipur, came into existence in the year 2005, and it is playing an important role in building the future education sector. Jiani Co-Education College is situated in the RIICO Institutional Area, Sitapura, Jaipur, and occupies a compact area of 1 acre. The college affiliated with this organisation also boasts of its recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education ( ICTE), which guarantees high standards of teacher education. Currently, the total number of students enrolled in this college is 187 and the academic staff by 16, which allows for providing only two professional educational programmes oriented to specific spheres, thus creating a small-scale but close-knit study process. 

Mahatma Gandhi College of Education is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. The college has various interrelated amenities that can improve the learning process of its learners. A fully stocked knowledge centre and cyber library is an intellectual nucleus that accommodates books, journals, and other educational media & NCTE publications & Sources’ internet data and databases. The ICT resource centre is a special facility which will help the students to gain experience in mastering the modern teaching equipment and develop their language abilities. Sports lovers get a large play area as well as fixtures for various games such as badminton, table tennis, football, cricket, basketball and volleyball are available. The college also makes provision for the overall development of an individual, and this is through yoga. The Mahatma Gandhi College of Education provides two complete courses to its students for the teaching profession. Now, in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course, there are 100 seats, and 50 students can take admission in the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed). Both programmes take two years to complete and give detailed learning about educational theory and practice.
