Batch of 2018 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
They just focus only on the education purpose and there was no separate time table for library, games .. just they keep an sports aside Once up on a time there was a good faculty but present there was only 3-8 faculty in overall clg who was perfect in clearing doubts of students without referring books ....rest of them didnot have clarity on what they are saying in classrooms

A place of practical knowledge.our college plays a major role in developing practical knowledge for students.industrial tours and exposure add additional information.faculty are very friendly .College maintains a strict timing and discipline.cleanliness is followed every where in the college premises.though there are number of top colleges in the city,it stands one among those.our placement officer provides every detail to the students about the skills to be developed.concluding, a good place for a better future

Bachelors-Tech- it should actually be Bachelors-Tackle

Posted on 21 Oct' 15 by Gautam Bhaghavatula
Batch of 2013 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering
I entered my college with the hope that Engineering would make my career smooth, once I graduate from the college, I will get a job... And all... like any other Btech Aspirant. But, its not that!! I was shocked the way faculty, students, management behave in a college environment which is not up-to the standards. I did my schooling from a catholic school which made me what I am today, later when I entered this corporate world of education with the junior colleges hub of Narayana and Chaitanya, I failed to recognize, there is much more than engineering in this world! Many more options, many more opportunities. But these institutions will blanket those options for you, their own goal is to send you into some sort of an engineering college. Now when joined engineering, I understood that the junior faculty (lab assistants) and faculty are attention craving people. If you salute them, they would serve you with good marks in lab exams. No single faculty, since my first year to last year recognize the work we do, nor they see if the work has been done on time. The only point they look is, is this person familiar, do he wish GOOD Morning and does he listen like a dumb fellow in class what ever is being told. This particular attitude of faculty prevails in every engineering college all-over our Nation and this should be changed for better future of the students. Next, when the point comes to the college infrastructure, library/sports facilities...they exist only for the sake of accreditation. You wont find the books needed in library, you will have to buy books in book stores of ameerpet or koti. Sports facilities... ya we do have a TT room, basket ball court, cricket ground and all... but there is no specific sports period for that. You are not allowed to enter the TT room or the library during class times.. so when do you think we can play? never!! as I said, the rooms will just exist for the sake of satisfying accreditation requirements. I already mentioned about faculty attitudes, most of the faculty are also the victims of the improper B tech education is poor engineering colleges, so what they have seen as students will be replicated by them as teachers in our colleges. They try to intimidate you, they try to put you under their feet, if you refrain from doing so, like me, you will be given unfortunate marks in lab exams which might affect you all your life. I'm not saying all the faculty are such, I've seen some very sensible faculty in my own college, they are student friendly for sure. But unfortunately, you will have to count them on finger tips. One thing I've seen in my college is, if a faculty is perfect he will not stay with us for a long time because who would work for peanuts? Engineering college faculty should be sensible, they should act like mentors, guides for student careers but not tyrants and dictators who can cut your marks in your lab if you question them for something not right!! When it comes to the soft skills training, my college doesn't provide any training for such... they hired a person to teach us those skills, he took money from us and eloped. When we complained it to our HOD she directed us to Principal who said he had no idea of such training. So who has to be blamed??? and wait if you blame do you think you can be safely graduate out of college clearing you lab exams!! So, STAY SILENT BOY. We had campus placements... all BPOs knocked our door. Engineers went to call centers like Amazon, Google, E-bay... Very unfortunate to tell, we were looking to become some software engineers in the same companies mentioned four years ago when we joined our B tech. Why did this happen, because you don't have proper experience, related industrial training... My college nor my faculty never referred to us to any companies for internships. On my own, I got an internship in TATA DOCOMO, the company asked me to work for them for 40 days during my semester time. My management did not allow me to do so... so I had wasted on a golden opportunity. Now, I wish I had done that intern that time. This will happen to many students, there will be rare opportunities which comes and goes in a flash. Many cannot recognize those opportunities, because your college doesn't train you to do so. I have much more stories to tell... I don't have the energy nor interest to share more now. But I'd like to say... if I can have one more chance to do engineering, I'd never choose this college!! the best part my college, I gained some good friends (a discount in calamity). I suggest the govt to give permissions to engineering colleges only if they can provide internships, industry exposures, placements assistance, and mainly a college which asks which do not ask for lab records.... ! (WHY do you need observations and the same copy in lab records..., the world is running and you are asking us to copy the same twice to satisfy the rules). Resurrection of engineering has to be done for good. Thanks.
