Meghraj Memorial B.Ed College, Barauni, is a co-educational institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institution provides professional courses in education, particularly in teacher training. The selection may also be based on some other criteria as per the State Government and the university policy. This course, a two-year full-time course, is intended to equip students to prepare for a teaching career at the secondary or higher secondary level.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed has an intake capacity of 50 students. The admissions to this course are also done merit-wise, considering marks obtained in the qualifying exams and/or marks in the entrance exam. The process will also be determined by state government and/or UT administration policies. This diploma program aims at preparing professionals to teach for elementary education.
