Mother Theresa College of Education, Sathupally Admission Process

Mother Theresa College of Education, Sathupally, is affiliated by the Teacher Education Programme recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It offers teacher education programmes to be delivered at a high quality to aspiring educators. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course offered at Mother Theresa College of Education runs for two academic years full-time. The intake capacity for the two-year course is sanctioned to be 100. Admission to the B.Ed program is based on merit as determined by the marks obtained in a qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The selection process may also include other criteria as specified by the state government or university policies. Candidates who hold a bachelor's degree or any equivalent degree from a recognized university are eligible for the B.Ed program.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed admission involves merit admissions in a two-year full-time program, as stated above, with an intake capacity of 50 students. Similar to B.Ed, merit caliber is the basis of admission in D.El.Ed. Merit comes from marks collected in the qualifying examination and/or the upper-than-threshold entrance examination marks. For students, to follow the above admission guidelines by the state government and UT Administration, qualifications usually set at 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board may be considered for D.El.Ed admission.
