what is the Nift delhi cutoff in all the courses in under graduation

For NIFT Delhi, the cutoffs are quite high. Fashion Communication closed around rank 54, Fashion Design at 86, Accessory Design 151, Textile Design 302, Knitwear 446, and Leather Design 800. For BFTech Apparel Production, it was around 41. So, for most design courses you need to be within the top 100 to 300 ranks, and for BFTech or Fashion Design, even within the top 50.

Need NIFT, UCEED and pearl academy entrance exam application dates

Hello

The NIFT 2026 application process is expected to begin in late November 2025 and close by early January 2026, with the exam in February. UCEED 2026 applications will open in October 2025, with the exam scheduled for January 18, 2026. Pearl Academy offers multiple admission cycles, starting with the January cycle applications in November 2025. Additional Pearl cycles are scheduled to follow in late January, April, and June 2026. I want to take nift college admission

Hello

To take admission in NIFT College, you would need to give the CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test). For Bachelors, you could either go for B.Des or B.FTech. B.Des requires both CAT and GAT whereas B.FTech only requires GAT. After clearing the exams, the shortlisted candidates are called for Situation Test or GD/PI.

Nift CAT most important topics

Important topics for NIFT CAT are mostly based on your creativity, observation, design thinking, and visual communication skills. So here's list of important topics you should focus on:
- Observation and drawing skills: Human figures & gestures, nature & Scene drawing are important
- Creative Visualisation: In this you'll have to convert 2d shapes into 3d, making imaginary scenes from a theme, and story illustration from given situations.
- Design & Concept Development: You'll be making logo, posters with creative slogans, book cover design and many more designs.
- Color theory, creative use of texture & patterns.
- Imagination & Innovation: merging two object to make new thing, designing eco friendly or festive based products

Nift question paper kitne marks ka hota hai or patern kya hai

The NIFT entrance exam has two main parts: CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test). The total marks and pattern depend on the course you are applying for.

If you are applying for B.Des (Bachelor of Design), then you have to take both CAT and GAT.
CAT tests your creative skills like drawing and imagination.
GAT tests your English, Math, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Case Study skills.
CAT is for 50 marks, GAT is for 30 marks, and if you qualify, you also appear for a Situation Test of 20 marks where you make a 3D model.
Total = 100 marks.

If you are applying for B.FTech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology), then you only have to take GAT.
GAT in this case is for 100 marks. There is no CAT or Situation Test.

In the GAT paper, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. CAT and Situation Test are judged based on creativity, not MCQs.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.
