NAC offers B.A. Honours programmes in Economics, Education, English, History, Odia, Political Science, Psychology, and Sanskrit. Admission to these programmes is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with a focus on relevant subjects for each discipline.
NAC provides a B.Com. Honours programme for commerce students. Admission is granted on the basis of the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination, especially those who have studied commerce or related subjects.

There are many vacancies for faculty members in the college Hence so much temporary professors come, teach and go. The college lacks Many permanent professors, specially in the commerce department. The semester exams are A bit easy. The courses are theoretical and don't make the students job-ready.
The academics is quite standard. The teachers are mostly pass outs of the state universities in the capital of the state. They are not that much qualified when compared to professors of National level colleges but their passion for teaching is remarkable. Semester exams are also disciplinary here.
