Our Lady College of Education, Maduravoyal Admission Process

Our Lady College of Education, Maduravoyal is one of the most sought-after seats of higher learning in the field of education. Situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the college is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers training programs exclusively in teacher education. The process of admission into Our Lady College of Education is a means by which the most deserving candidates are chosen for a limited number of places available in the various programs offered by the college. These courses are oriented towards the heart of the comprehensive processes of teacher training and advancement of educational thought. The admission process in the B.Ed program consists of recommendations given for a personal interview for those shortlisted; the basis for selection on merit, based on the candidate's performance at the academic stage on the qualifying examination.

Similar to the B.Ed program, the M.Ed admission process is also oriented towards merit ranking according to the relevant parameters set out by the State Government and Affiliated University based on performance in qualifying examinations and/or any prescribed entrance tests. It should be noted that any and all admissions are thus provisionally accepted by the Management of the college and are subject to approval by the Affiliated University. Admission must be verified through the university according to the Directorate of Collegiate Education guidelines that the college firmly adheres to. Any irregularities detected in mark certificates shall entail disqualification of admission and further legal options.
