The Our Lady's Institute of Teacher Education admission has a merit-based process, following the rules and regulations of the state government or the UT administration. Currently, under the policy in existence, admissions are usually based upon the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or an entrance test.
Our Lady's Institute of Teacher Education provides only one full-time course, which is Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). It is a two-year course focusing on making the student competent to act as a teacher in early primary schools. Academic Year: June-July in most cases; the admissions process starts months before that.
