Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR- College of Education, Ramnad is a budding teacher education institution founded in the year 2006 at Ramanathapuram District- Tamil Nadu. This co-educational college affiliated to the state university is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has a huge area of 21.55 acres and has a favourable setting for the aspiring educators training as it is a collegiate institution. The institute admits 111 students in total and employs 16 faculties that guarantee individual focus and excellent education. At the moment, the college produces only one type of degree holder, that of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) thereby indicating its specialisation in training teachers.
