Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan (RKSMVV), established in 1961, is a premier girls’ college in Kolkata, dedicated to providing quality education. RKSMVV Kolkata is affiliated with the West Bengal State University and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. RKSMVV Kolkata courses include BA, BA (Hons), B.Sc, and B.Sc (Economic Hons) programmes and MA Philosophy. Admission to Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan is merit-based. The merit list for undergraduate courses considers class 12 scores whereas the merit list for postgraduate courses is made on the basis of graduation scores. Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan Kolkata has a placement cell that conducts campus placements and provides training to students. It also provides special coaching and add-on courses.
Financial aid is provided through RKSMVV Kolkata scholarships like the Sheela Kanoria scholarship, Sarada scholarship, Sri Sarada Math, Kanyashree Scholarship and others. Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan Kolkata provides financial assistance to meritorious female candidates.
