The college campus overall is well-equipped with modern facilities. The classrooms are large, and the libraries which are also well–equipment provide a wide range of academic books. Wi-fi is accessible only in certain academic areas.
Academics
A good number of the faculty members are well-qualified and explain subject matters in an easy way. However, the evaluation system is very rigorous here. Even if you do a good job, getting a high grade is not very easy, thus you have to take your studies seriously and be exam-ready for each semester.

A few companies come but the majority of them are small–scale firms or local business units offering very basic salary packages. The average package varies between ₹2 LPA and ₹3.5 LPA. The boy’s choice is government jobs, so many of them are engaged in the preparation of government exams or prefer going for an MBA after BBA rather than relying completely on campus placements.

So honestly and my view the most of faculty are inexperienced they have not enough knowledge as teachers or faculty have. Most of faculty are younger like 25 to 30 year. The exam of college is decent but University exam is hard. Pass percentage is 5.40 above CGPA.

If you want to admission in my college you atleast need a 70% merit and . The highest package of my college as i know is 8lakh and lowest is 3 lakh per year. In our college the companies recruiting is Surekha Private etc. Now I am in 4 th year so many companies are coming for students for intership. If they pass the interview they are hire in their company. There are many role in offers in company like data analytics, web developer etc.

The lowest package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA in several instances, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Hexaware, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, SAP Labs, Oracle, FactSet, and L&T. Our college has a separate block for library, which is well-maintained, and many books are useful for not only our studies but also preparation for many competitive exams like GATE, etc. For each block, there is a separate Wi-Fi which is very fast. Our classrooms and labs are in a good environment. Though I'm not a hosteller, I can tell about food quality, which is best. Our college supports all kinds of games such as cricket, basketball, etc. Our college also conducts cricket tournaments every year. Medical facilities and gym are also available in our college.

All professors are very helpful. They are always available to solve our doubts. Courses are not for marks, but they teach every aspect, which is useful for facing industries in society. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but in our college, management does not see marks as they see talent. Most of the professors are strict, but it is for our development.
Placements
In our college, 70% of students get placements in each branch. In our course, the highest package offered is 14 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Companies that recruit students from our course are Hexaware Technologies, Infosys, Cognizant, Capegemini, Miracle, etc. Nearly 100-150 students got internship opportunities in companies like Infosys, etc. The top roles offered are product engineers, software developers, QA testers, etc.

The MCA department has an excellent infrastructure facility. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors which not only make the interaction more but also learning is more fun and interesting. Labs have updated systems and software required for programming practice.

The faculty teaching MCA at MIET is very helpful and has good domain knowledge. They not only clarify the concepts but also support us in practical and project-based learning. The way they present their lectures is quite comprehensible, and they also try to link the topics with the latest industrial scenarios.

Nearly 70–80% of the students of our batch manage to get a job every year. A lot of IT service and software development companies come to the campus for recruitment. In the last couple of years, the freshers have been hired by a company like Hexaware Solutions, Birlasoft, Nucleus Software, and some mid-level tech firms located in NCR.

The college has a functional, older main building situated in a compact area, which generally serves its purpose. I spent most of my time in the Geography laboratory, which was surprisingly well-equipped for our practical work, helping me immensely with cartography and surveying instruments. The central library is a peaceful spot where I could always find necessary textbooks, which is a great academic asset to the campus. However, the total campus area feels quite small, and there is absolutely no provision for a hostel facility for students like me traveling from far away. The quality of the food in the primary canteen during my three years was consistently unappetizing, forcing me to rely on numerous better outside options. I think the overall infrastructure is strictly average and seriously needs modernization beyond just the departmental laboratories.

If I am being completely honest, the placement scenario for core science Honours subjects like Geography was practically non-existent during my three years there. I cannot recall any significant companies specifically visiting the department for recruitment, which was a huge disappointment for me and my classmates.

The campus life aspect was quite subdued, which is perhaps expected from a non-residential institution where most students travel from nearby areas. I never experienced the vibrant, high-energy college life often seen elsewhere, as engagement was mainly limited to classroom interactions and small departmental gatherings. While we did have the annual cultural function and some departmental seminars, there was a general lack of diverse student clubs or societies to join for extracurricular activities. I mostly spent my non-class hours in the quiet library or studying with my small group of close friends.

The facility of Galgotias University is definitely top-notch. The campus is very well planned and gives a modern university vibe. Normally we have one mid-term and one end-term for every semester which is manageable if you keep your notes up to date and revise them regularly. In general, the faculty is good and if the student is serious, then he/she can very well handle the situation and get good grades.

Some campus drives take place annually, but mostly mid-level companies or startups that are in the stage of growth are the ones that come. BBA top package doesn’t go very high, on-campus it is somewhere around 5-6 LPA, but students who have good communication skills and confidence can also take the off-campus route and as a result can get better opportunities in the place of their choice.

I feel that the standard lecture halls are very basic and could use a significant contemporary update to enhance the environment for longer classes. The academic intensity is serious and this course is far from an easy path and requires continuous, focused dedication from the first day to the last. Most of our professors have real, deep-rooted industry background, which makes the often heavy theoretical concepts instantly applicable in a professional context. The syllabus foundation is superb, though it occasionally misses some ultra-modern global trends, and so I have to do independent research to stay competitive. The second-year practical modules are particularly valuable, truly cementing the foundational skills needed for my upcoming industrial internship placement.

The college's placement legacy is a critical factor for me, and it definitely delivers on its reputation. Even now, the final-year students are overwhelmed with interview slots and pre-placement offers from major five-star international and domestic brands recruiting directly from here. The physical campus itself is very small and does not feature vast sports fields or large communal green areas for students to lounge or play in. However, the compact environment unintentionally forces strong, instant social interaction and very quick bonding between students from various academic levels. Being centrally located in Kolkata is a massive, life-altering advantage, allowing incredible access to the city's amazing food, cultural hub, and endless entertainment. The student council does an admirable job organizing smaller, engaging internal events and cultural activities to ensure that all students have opportunities to participate and have fun. Only a couple of teachers were not very interactive, otherwise most faculty members were supportive. Exams were not very difficult, but you definitely had to prepare in advance; studying consistently for 1-2 months before finals was enough to score good marks.

Campus drives were enthusiastically done by well-known mid to large level organizations like Kotak Life, ICICI Prudential, Future Generali, IndiaMART, PolicyX, TalentPro, etc.

The thing which I love the most about my college is the food court. We nearly have 30 food courts, including 3 restaurants at the college. The library is underground and is spread over a large area with lavish interiors and a vibe of learning. Labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and lift facilities are provided.

Overall, the teachers are very helpful, interactive, and friendly. We got complete support from them, but obviously, some teachers were there who didn’t even clarify the syllabus and course timings. Lectures were canceled and much more, but supplementary lectures were scheduled immediately, so no worries about that too.

63% of students were placed. The highest placement in B.Tech was 13 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. 40% of students got placed in internships in companies like IBM, InfoTech, Infosys, TCS, and many more. Some students who didn’t get placed were because they didn’t attend the interview, got an internship on their own, or were rejected.

The best feature of our college is that we have 3 different types of canteen inside our campus. We also have 3 grounds where we can enjoy, talk and also can play different games. There are no campus placements for MA Political Science students at IGNOU. As an open university, it mainly focuses on academics and flexibility rather than placements. Students are required to find jobs on their own or to prepare for competitive exams. BBA students of MIT Meerut do not get any big brand recruiters. The average salary package also remains very low at around 2–3 LPA. Most of the students have to look for jobs on their own either off-campus or through references. There is no direct placement support for BBA as they show during admission.
