Salem College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) started in the year 2009, is an affiliated college in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi this institution is regarded as one of the premier engineering colleges in Orissa offering a number of engineering courses in respective specialities in India. Located on a corrigendum of 10.69 acres of land, SCET has an over all size of 727 students enrolled and 104 members of faculties. The college currently offers 13 courses at two levels of degree namely: Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree levels in engineering specialisations including, mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communications engineering, biomedical engineering among others.
Salem College of Engineering and Technology has many facilities appropriate for an academic atmosphere. The college has its own hostel facility for boys and girls for providing accommodation to number of students coming from different parts of the country. A 197.697 sqm central library well equipped with books and journals in the field of science, engineering and technology. This campus also provides up to date practical laboratories, an assembly for occasions and other seminars, and a health facility with an adjacent first aid department. Facilities that exist in the college to support students are transport facilities, canteen and the college also has adequate proportions of parking space. Sporting amenities for physical fitness are provided in order to ensure that there were enough replacements for boring or sedentary student life.

Collage infrastructure is good and library is under comes to digital and library is so smart for searching option of available books to search easily,then food is very good daily different dishes for students convinced,then comes to faculty that are very cool personality but one of faculty is very bad, sports part are very appreciative in my collage principal and he guided very well
