Sandaravadhanam College of Education, Cuddalore, is an NCTE-approved institution in the making of future educators. The college has a merit-based admission process as per the Tamil Nadu state educational policies.  The admissions at Sandaravadhanam College of Education aim to select candidates of the highest quality and merit. The admission process depends on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam, the entrance exam, or any other selection process as prescribed by the state government. Thus, the most competent students are provided with the opportunity to pursue their dreams and make a career in teaching. The candidates generally must possess a successful qualifying examination conducted under the Tamil Nadu state government for consideration under the eligibility criteria for admission into Sandaravadhanam College of Education. They must fulfill the other academic requirements, as well as other conditions set for the B.Ed. program.

Application Process

1. Notification: Watch the college website or local newspapers for admission notification.

2. Application Form: Obtain and fill in the application form. This will be available either through the online option or at the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Submit the duly filled application form along with the required documents:

• Mark sheet of qualifying examination
• Transfer Certificate
• Community Certificate (if applicable)

8. Fee Payment: After document verification, students are required to pay the stipulated admission fees to secure admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: Sandaravadhanam College of Education offers a full-time B.Ed. program, with an approved intake capacity of 100 students. This is a two-year program aimed at giving extensive training into every aspect of teaching. The way C.E. will be admitted in B.Ed. is purely on merit, based on the qualifying examination score and/or entrance examination score, or any other selection process as determined by the policy of the state government.

The eligibility requirements for admission into the B.Ed. program involves applicants holding a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university, amongst others. Applicants need to meet the minimum required marks as prescribed by the state government and the criteria as set by the NCTE. Hence only deserving candidates take a seat in the program.
