Undergraduate and postgraduate courses wisely offered by SDAM College of Education in Seoni Malwa are diversified, such as courses across streams. Merit-based admission process is followed under the guidelines of the University Grants Commission, the Department of Higher Education of Madhya Pradesh, and Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
Admission cycle is synchronized with the Barkatullah University academic calendar. It is better that candidates contact the college or admissions office for exact application dates since the commencement of an academic year starts in August-September and dates for submission usually fall in the month of May-July.
The primary requirement for admission is the qualifying examination of the candidate. This examination is usually the 12th standard or equivalent for undergraduate degree courses and a relevant bachelor's degree for the postgraduate courses. Those marks help in creating a merit list for the purpose of admission.

BA Programs:
A number of BA programs are on offer in SDAM College, including History, Political Science, Sociology, Computer Application, Economics, English Literature, and Hindi Literature. Admission shall be entirely based on merit through 12th standard marks. The number of students is specific for each program, where most of the BA programs admit about 30 students.
B.Com Programs:
B.Com and B.Com Computer Applications are the two types of programs offered in the college, whereby both admissions are strictly merit-based considering 12th standard marks. The two programs above feature 200 seats and 100 seats, respectively.
B.Sc Courses:
B.Sc degrees offered differ from each other, including Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Seed Technology. Admission to these courses is based on 12th standard marks in science stream. The majority of B.Sc. programs have an intake ranging from 60 to 100 seats.
BBA and BCA:
Both programs admit students based on 12th standard marks, with an intake of 60 seats each.
B.Ed:
The 100 counts which form the B.Ed program are extremely vital for those who seek to take a career within teaching. Admission under this course is based on the grades awarded to the applicant during the bachelor's degree.
M.Com Programs:
The M.Com in Management and M.Com in Accounts are both offered, with 60 seats available for each. Admission will base on marks obtained in the relevant bachelor's degree.
MA & M.Sc Programs:
The programs include MA in Sociology, M.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science. Admission is granted based on the corresponding bachelor's degree marks. The intake varies from 25 to 60 depending on the program.
PGDCA:
This postgraduate diploma has 30 seats, with admission based on the bachelor's degree marks.
D.El.Ed:
The Diploma in Elementary Education has 50, and admission to this program is based on 12th standard marks.
